Pizza is a staple in our household, I am always wanting new ideas and ways to make it. Also, I want to find any and every way I can to include our kids in every day tasks. I believe children learn better through doing activities than watching. Our son loves to help with whatever we are doing, so it was not hard to have him help me fill these up and get them ready. The hard part was getting them to wait for the oven to give back their food! Haha.
I have tried a few different creative recipes that have been a total bust, but these are so simple and fast that even if you do mess it up… well no one will ever know the difference!
Love pizza, but want to switch it up? These are perfect for a quick lunch! If you have littles, they can even step in and help make these simple twists.
- 1 pk Crescent Rolls
- 2 Tbsp Melted Butter
- 1 C Marina Sauce
- 1 C Mozzarella
- 1 Tbsp Italian Seasoning
- 12-24 Pepperonis
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Spray baking sheet or line with parchment paper.
Press two crescent rolls together to make a rectangle & brush with melted butter.
Sprinkle cheese in the center of rolls.
Place 3-6 pepperonis in on the cheese.
Fold longer sides together and pinch edges to seal.
Twist dough and place on baking sheet.
Brush with butter and sprinkle Italian seasoning over tops.
Bake for 18-20 minutes.
Serve with marinara dipping sauce!
You can switch out the pepperoni for any toppings you like!
