Perfect sauce for pancakes, french toast or even ice cream!
- 1 lb strawberries one package frozen
- 1/4 C white sugar
- 2 Tbsp Lemon juice fresh is preferred
Remove stems and dice strawberries.
Add all ingredients in to sauce pan over medium heat.
Bring sauce to a soft boil and stir occasionally. Boil for around 5 minutes.
You can now either add sauce to a blender if you do not like 'chunks' or just mash them slightly with a fork to have pieces of strawberry in your sauce.
*If you would like to thicken your sauce, add 2 tsp. of cornstarch to 2 tbsp. of water. Add this mixture to the strawberry sauce before removing from the heat.
